Happy National Day!
Heys! Firstly,wish everyone out there a Happy National Day! Lets us celebrate this moment, a brand new day ahead! Stand up for Singapore! This is home, truly! Count on me Singapore! We are Singapore, We are Singapore!
Haha. Maybe I'm really patriotic as what Reuben had listed me as, but whats wrong with being patriotic? Singapore is my home! hahaha. Now lets begin the bloggin for what happened a few hours ago.
When to watch fireworks with Ken,Reu & Ger. Val went too, but pang sei us to go with her friend or in other words we kicked her out of our group.HAhahah, Just kidding no offence here. Left school at about 4 and went to the "vivacious,interesting,vibrant, & bubbly" Simei for a game of pool. The champ, no need to say i'm sure all of you will know. ME! ... in micropool! hahaha. In reality, i dunno its gerald or kenny la. they are fighting over the champ position. Eh, Ger don't blame me for your lost hor,who ask you want get rid of me. hurmpf! LOL
Decided to leave Simei at 6 plus but due to some reasons. Ken, Reu and Ger end playing soccer at my house void deck. Reu, my mom is not fierce la. Cos she wear her "lao hua glasses" thats why she look at you like that.hahahah.She wont gobble you up de, you'll find her nice if you interact with her. Left Simei at about 8pm. Valencia spamming calls and smses, asking us to hurry down to esplanade as its already packed with people. At least, appreciation to her for "chopping" place for us, which we didn't get to due to our lateness.
Arrived at City hall around 8.25pm. Woosh! This is the first time i see city hall filled with so much people. People mountain people sea. Opps the correct English should be the people extended to the mountains and sea. Hey, pro huh? hehehe. All thks to Reu the english pro. Pushing our way through the crowd with difficulties, Gerald the only one who mastered the "Chuan Long Guo Jiang" skills seems to pass thru rather easily. hahaha. Size do matter. At the merlion park and the bridge in front of it, its again PACKED! Squeezing our way thru the crowd to the Merlion park, we endured the " natural fagrance of human body". Pengz! Ambulance please, im fainting! LOL.I wonder how kids and babies who went along with their parents can tahan! Managed to SQUEEZE to the stairs where we at least got quite a good view of the fireworks.All thks to some trees, we cant get to see what going on at the bottom of shears bridge.
9pm and the fireworks were launched into the sky on time. Today show was done by team Singapore. The fireworks patterns and style were to the national songs played. Loved the Indian part, it was awesome! During the 10 mins of fireworks, i was indulged in my world of fantasy. The kind of joy and pleasure cannot be easily put into words. Maybe thats the first time i really appreciate fireworks with so many Singaporeans & touristst on National Day Eve! Feel so proud! Hehe!
Everything got to come to an end, but its ok. I have another 2 nonono, its 3 more fireworks to see on national day, fri and sat! YAHOOOO! HAHAHA. siao. I think friday will be very fun with classmates around! Lalalalala.
Ok, after the fireworks took a long long walk from esplanade to bugis. Bought Slurpy on the way and did some BRAIN FREEZE! Gerald immuned to the freeze, Reuben new to Slurpy's brain freeze,and kenny on a high after freeze.LOL. Took a bus down down to Geylang. Com'on its singing time "Geylang Sisaput Geylang!" LOL. Reuben almost half dead but kenny and gerald still so energetic, their batteries just can't seem to finish. Ken the tour guide showed us the nightlife of Geylang and its quite an eye-opener. Dun think dirty, we just went to look at the yummies. Anyway i jus simply hate Geylang for its "dirty lifestyle" except for the yummies. No doubt Reu will be the same after being "hanky panky". Hehe.
End of tour. Time to go home and rest. Another wonderful day spent. Hahaha.
What a sucky ending to my post, what to do? its already 3.45am!@!@!@! I'm dead beat, going to charge myself for tmr celebrations! nite.
