Tuesday, November 25, 2008 I cant stop being emo
Spent 4 hours with myself on a rock, 3 hours walking home, and have 2 more hours before I wake up and start 1 new day.
What's the point of finding the courage and using it only to hurt myself in the end? I know I am never lucky and will never be. I will just continue to live in my own turtle shell.

Thursday, November 20, 2008 Do ranting and raving really help?
Calvin is really curious why people would choose to waste their time ranting and raving rather than spending the precious time doing something more meaningful. I admit I am guilty of that ocassionally but sometimes there is really no need to. It is even worst when that person just shoot whatever it is on his/her mind without thinking of what others may feel.
Do ranting and raving make things better? Will it solve problems? Do one really feel better after screaming and shouting?
Even if it does, is it worth it at the expense of some other feelings?
Calvin is utterly disappointed.

Friday, November 14, 2008 Melrose children home and ktv
I always wanted to be a volunteer to homes but didn't because I couldn't find anyone to accompany me. Went to Melrose Children Home today with company and it was a really great experience. There is a handful of mischievous ones but they can't be blamed since most of them spent majority of their time in the home. They weren't given proper attention that young kids usually seek. I see the introverts, hyper energetic ones, naughty and well behaved ... all sorts under one roof.
Attended lessons with them, was a prize presenter at their award ceremony, had dinner with the kids, and cam whore with the few potential cam whores. I bought lollipops for them too! Lolli lolli pop those bodies.
One of the activities during the mind enpowering lesson. I also learnt why kids say the darnest things during the lesson. Haha. The kids given briefing before the award presentation. Thanks to the visit, we get to enjoy the scrumptious dinner too.
After meal - pictures session.
My colleagues
These 2 got real potential !
This one too.. he's Elvinder and he is very charming. He got a pair of beautiful eyes and offered hugs when were leaving. Now you believe me, he asked for my camera. Cute right?
I will surely return to help if given another chance.
P.S: The smiles and laughters of these little ones may not be what they really feel.
KTV-ed after the home visit. Meet Kendra the eye popper, Ariel aka Jolin Tsai, Rachel aka my true love (LOL) and Your truely.
Cheese!

I have to rush and complete my tasks on hand before I leave my post on 27th Nov. Darn.
Anyway there are alot of things running in my head for the past few days, if not weeks. Have been thinking alot, no wonder my head was feeling the strain after being left to rust for so long.

Nick Vuljicic. He is the man that put many to shame. Without arms and legs, he lives a better life than many of us.
Saturday, November 01, 2008 Nothing beats the shit out of REC
Who says Halloween is about wearing fanciful costumes and parading on streets and clubs?
Watching a good and of course horrifying movie will make Halloween too. REC (a Spanish horror film) certainly did not fail like my Halloween plans this year.
The movie revolves around a television reporter and her cameraman, who is responsible to cover the night shift in one of the local fire station for a documentary. They receive a call for rescue from an old woman trapped in a building and never did they expect the nightmare to unfold from there...
Anymore you got to watch the movie yourself.
What makes REC so different from the rest is its unique faux-docu style of filming. Deemed as a runaway roller coaster of a fright flick, REC will surely jangle the nerves. I swear this is the best and first horror movie I have ever watched that makes me scream and tremble even after the show. My BP went through the roof.
Shock rating: 6/5 (I really think it deserves a 6, I jolted out of my seat on more than two occasions.) Plot rating: 3.5/5 Overall: 4.5/5
Highly advisable to watch if you want a really good scare.
