LFC seems to be sure of moving into New Anfield by mid 2009. I got to start saving to fufil my dream of watching Liverpool at Anfield for the very first and last time.
I got all calculations done. Rounded up to the nearest hundred in Sing dollars.
Price of ticket at the Kop- $120
+Budget accomodation(3D2N) at Liverpool - $1800
+Round trip air ticket for 1 to London - $1700

This amount is not inclusive of charges and taxes. Including miscellaneous fees, I will need around a massive $5k!!
Now moving on to the saving plan.

Duration to save- 2.5 yrs(30 mths)
5000/30= 166/mth
OMG!! How in the hell am i going to save $166 a month??
Heck.Nothing is stopping me from making the trip to Anfield before they moves.

Took out the once freaking scary weighing scale.
Shut my eyes & stood on it
The scale moved to its the right.
Knowing it will hit the 65kg or above mark.
Prepared for the worst!
Peep through my half lifted eye lid with fear.
DELIGHTED!
I did not even touched 65kg.
I feel like SCREAMING!!

September 19 2005, the day when tongteck.blogspot.com is registered in the blogger web. It had turned 1 today.
This blog had been with me thru the jovial and poignant moments.
All sorts of entries and singlish being used. But this blog had "upgrade" itself in this one year , it had evolved from Singlish to English.
Reduced number of "Lah", "Lor" and "Mea" and improved number of rhetorical english words and phrases.
Lets compared the standard of english as this blog approach its second anniversary.

Read one of my friend's blog and found out that he manages a football team in the U. Envious. He's a Coach/Player. Transfers of players also take place between theirs and other teams. Thats lots of fun man. The Uni league. Hahaha.
Speaking of football management, tactics and formations fascinate me. I miss my FM so badly, I'm suffering from FM(football madness). Hahaha.
Martin O'Neil, Rafael Benitez, Glenn Roeder, and Guus Hiddink are few of the master tacticians i admired. Sometimes Mourinho too, but he got to correct his attitude problem.
It doesnt mean you will win with a good squad, managers' work play a major role too. Just look at Hiddink and O'Neil, they can produce decent results with their mediocre teams.
If there's a chance into football or any other ball games that require tactics management, I'll gladly take up the role. Hahaha. (Speaking as if i'm very good at this) HAHA.

Received a sms at 1.24pm. My results were resonable, at least do not have to take supp papers. Ultimately disappointed with my overall GPA.
Forget about the results.
22 laps of swimming. 2 times of what i wanted. 13 laps for Reuben! What a great achievement.
Reuben is so well served and entertained today. He's no longer afraid of my mom and my lovable grandmother. Luncheon meat sandwich and beehoon. What a feast! haha.
I know this post is once again very boring. No choice. Im that bored too.

football = my life
football = my life
Football or soccer has always been essential in my daily life. Soccer ain't just about the 22 grown-ups man chasing aimlessly for the damn freaking ball on a 100m x 65m pitch. Its all about the teams' cohesiveness, determination and spirit. Outcomes of the match doesnt usually concern me as long my best team put in their ultimate effort.
Soccer also bring about togetherness in a group of friends.
Support the same team, we'll walk together.
Fans of the rival teams, I'll walk over you. haha.
That izznt the case. Reuben and me sparked off with soccer, although he is a manu fan!! What a man red. My ex-mates whether of the same team we support or not, still get together and continue our friendly rivalry among each other. Especially on saturday and sunday nights and Euro wednesday and thursday. Skipping dinners, gave up dates with girlfriends and curtailed sleeps. Phoning/ sms'ing the opposition party regardless of what happen on the pitch.
I just love the feeling when football fans sit down and talk football, and i mean ONLY football.
Looking forward to tonight Merseyside derby. The split of Reds and Blues.
Looking forward to the fall of Manu against Tottenham. hehe. I'm sure im gonna get some feedbacks on this comment.

Humankind had lost one of their most passionate environmentalist due to a freak accident two days ago at Queensland's Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
September 5th 2006 will never be forgotten as the 44 yrs old contributed his last to mother nature. Fans from all over the world mourned over his death. His grieving family is finding the best way to say goodbye, both privately and publicly. The Prime minister of Austrialia also offered a state funeral but was rejected by Steve's dad. He said that Steve was just an ordinary bloke and wanted to be remembered as an ordinary bloke.
Even after Steve Irwin death, there are still lots of things the public can learn from. His modesty and contributions to humankind and wildlife.
"Humankind is ocean's deadliest" This is one of the memorable statement made by the great one, only for him to be taken away by one of the ocean's deadliest.
Mankind are already missing Steve Irwin, no doubts the animal kingdom will too.

A 4 star rated movie indeed. Snakes on a plane is awesome, brilliant and superb. kudos to the producers. Almost every scene justifies the ticket price. Those scenes of the battle between the creepy crawlers and human simply eject you out of your seat.
The best quote from the show: "I'd enough of these mother f**king snakes on this mother f**king plane and i'm going to burst open the windows. Sit tight everyone." This sentence just interest me. hahaha.

Finally back into blogging after a week break. I don't consider it a break, a torture more likely. Imagine sleeping for only 4 hrs a day and memorising stuffs that will make you go crazy! OB was pathetic, i'm prepared for the worst. Econs,CSA & Acct were ok. Hope not to see any red.
For now we'll all put these stuffs at the back of our mind. Exams are over and its HOLIDAY!! I have not come out with a schedule of my "must do" during the holidays yet. There are quite alot to be done and tons of determination are required and who the hell in this world can give me some? I must conquer and overthrow my laziness as soon as possible!!!
A warning to the peeps out there: Holiday= Eat, sleep & play = Horizontal expansion
