With exams kicking off and one more project due in the coming week, no doubt the majority will face a pinch of stress. According to reuben's most recent post on stress, I don't think the word stress is even in my vocabulary! I may appear stress occasionally, but will not allow stress to conquer me. As long as one is fully prepared for any foregoing reponsibilties and work, you don't have to mention S-T-R-E-S-S.
Let me share some ways of overcoming stress for you guys out there:
- Push aside all of your current work, switch on the media player and let yourself live in the world of music.
- Relaxation skills like yoga may be helpful in managing stress and rescind maladaptive behaviour patterns
- Self observations of antecedents of events, behaviour response to the events and consequences. This self-observation makes an indiviual aware of how to change behaviour to more effectively manage stress.
- Time management methods that may help to restore a sense of balance to your life.
Hope all these method so help in stress relieve.
