football = my life
Football or soccer has always been essential in my daily life. Soccer ain't just about the 22 grown-ups man chasing aimlessly for the damn freaking ball on a 100m x 65m pitch. Its all about the teams' cohesiveness, determination and spirit. Outcomes of the match doesnt usually concern me as long my best team put in their ultimate effort.
Soccer also bring about togetherness in a group of friends.
Support the same team, we'll walk together.
Fans of the rival teams, I'll walk over you. haha.
That izznt the case. Reuben and me sparked off with soccer, although he is a manu fan!! What a man red. My ex-mates whether of the same team we support or not, still get together and continue our friendly rivalry among each other. Especially on saturday and sunday nights and Euro wednesday and thursday. Skipping dinners, gave up dates with girlfriends and curtailed sleeps. Phoning/ sms'ing the opposition party regardless of what happen on the pitch.
I just love the feeling when football fans sit down and talk football, and i mean ONLY football.
Looking forward to tonight Merseyside derby. The split of Reds and Blues.
Looking forward to the fall of Manu against Tottenham. hehe. I'm sure im gonna get some feedbacks on this comment.
