Give $2, make a difference
Upon seeing a blind busker on a street performing, the thought of helping strikes you. You dig into your pocket and grasp a handful of coins and a couple of two dollar notes. Ask yourself this question. Will you drop the coins in or one of the notes?
Dropping either one or both show you do have got sympathy to help those in need.
But if you choose to drop in the coins, what is the main reason for doing so? If it is because you want the blind busker to know that you are paying him then you are defeating the purpose of helping. What does a moment of compassion cost you? Just $2.
In the recent national day speech, PM Lee had blabber about the increased difference in income between the poor and the rich and how one could help. Surely this discussions are important and necessary but I cant save the world by giving my own money. Suppose one million people make a start and give $2 a month, it would make $2M a month -$24M a year. A tidy sum of money which is more than enough to help those living on public assistance.
True, if we willy-nilly gave out money, some of it might accidentally go to secret millionaires who ply the streets looking for tin cans. A chance that Im willing to take. Just $2 less for me in exchange, a hot meal for an old man who hasn't eaten for two days and an hour less scavenging in the heat for an 80 year old woman, looking for old cardboard boxes.
So pack your wallet with $2 notes and give out one a day. Amazingly you will feel happier.

The Borne Ultimatum is good.
Caught the sneaks with a handful of my classmates.
And for two times in a row, I've met with another idiot in the cinema. This time round, he is a leg shaker. How idiotic and irritating for him to shake his leg and make my seat shake as well.
Such cinema luck.
Its a pity that the term is coming to an end soon cos I've realise that my current project group is the best that I ever had. To be part of such a perfect group is hard to come by. But unfortunately for the class, only a portion is able to bond.
Better than not.
I treasure life-long friendship.
Starting to mug for exams.
Hard life. Lol.

Hr skitty
oohh. I can't wait for my HR presentation. With director Darren.L at the helm, our group skit is nearly the standards of a steven spielberg movie. Hahaha. Visual and hearing aids, plus the oscar standard acting, its like a million dollar production.

simpsons n springfield
I was supposed to enjoy the simpsons movie but throughout the show I was constantly disturbed by a fat guy disgusting laughter and actions. He sat just beside me. His behaviour deserve a tight slap in his face. We are in a cinema, not watching some roadside performances yet this bas* claps whenever he feel like it during the show. Thats not the end, he laughs at almost every scene in the movie even though some parts wasnt meant to be funny.
If his laughter were those made by a normal being, I'm alright with it, but it sounded like he was being possessed by a ghost or witch.
I wasnt very pleased with the show except for its entertainment value. Sorry Simpons fans. And in response to Maggie very first word "sequel", the Simpsons will have to do much better than this one.
