June reflection


June will always be the month that I look forward to when I was a little boy because school's out for one whole month and best of all, my birthday. Every year without fail, I will get a birthday cake and birthday song from my family. Presents will be a bonus because my family hasn't got that tradition of buying gifts. Despite the simplicity, I always love the few minutes we spent together around the cake. Birthday presents are something that I don't really give a damn about now although it's every kid's dream to receive gifts on their big day. Wishes come and go every year. What I want most for my birthday is to have my bestest friends and family with me for a simple meal or a chill out/catching up session.

Presents do not last, friends and family do.
