Reds in town.
Reds in town.
July 25th and 26th 2009. This two days will live with me for a long long time. 25th July, met Mary and Leona to catch a glimpse of The World Greatest Football Club, Liverpool FC. Atmosphere at the Singapore River was good with all the banners and singing.
The wait was long but it was all worth it.
Finally, they are here.

It wasn't enough. We ran from Clarke Quay all the way down to Boat Quay. Oh boy, it wasn't easy with this kind of crowd!
And we caught them again. This time even closer.
It's not everyday you get to see Liverpool in town. Of course we have to make the best of it, we ran through the atas Fullerton Hotel to get to the next destination. I don't know where to, but we just followed the flow.
Across the road, machiam Liverpool fans owned the road. We rocks!

Their boats sailed into the far horizon of Marina Bay. Hahahah
July 26th, the day that was worth all my money. Liverpool vs Singapore at errmm, Anfield. They renamed our National Stadium just for that day.
Imagine sitting under the sorching hot sun since 5pm! But the good seats were almost all taken up when we arrived.

They replicated the Anfield atmosphere by bringing in the Liverpool flag.

5! 5! 5! 5-0! It was quite a good return for our ticket price.
