I witnessed most of my close friends enlistment into Tekong and I'm going in on Monday myself. The anxiety and anticipition sucks to the core. Emotion flows when parents have to witness their sons give up the comfort of home for NS ife on Tekong. That's the time when everyone tries their best to hold back their tears and put on a brave front.

I can feel it too. I swear the feeling really SUCKS.

When my turn comes this Monday, I will be stepping out of the comfort zone of my family and friends. Like everyone, I am so used to having the luxury of friends and family by my side almost everyday but I will try my best to overcome the first two weeks of confinement.

I know its tough but I will try.
