who pay attention to a busker?
It was pouring when I exit Simei MRT station.
Everyone who came out was in their hurried footsteps.
A wave of beautiful voice then caught my attention.
It was from a busker, a blind one.
He was sitting under a sheltered walkway, strumming his guitar and singing to the tune.
His vocals were so good that I suddenly got this urge to give him all my cash in my wallet.
I gave him a couple in the end.
It was unusual to see people stop and listen because most Singaporeans don’t even give buskers a pinch of attention on normal days, not to say a rainy day like today.
He made me realised that even on a dull and dark rainy day, you can still draw the beautiful things around you if you slow down your pace.
People tends to miss out on many thing if they rush through their lives.
